My research focuses on quantum many-body systems in AMO and condensed-matter physics, at the interface of theory and experiment.

I am a graduate student at MIT. I studied physics and mathematics at Harvard University.

Fun fact: my name is officially spelled “Tasuku” under the Hepburn Romanization system. In Japanese, however, the two “u”s are barely pronounced (vowel devoicing; see this concise article from the Tokyo University of Foreign Studies), so the actual pronunciation is closer to “Task,” as in the English word.
